Back home

Well it's nice to be home as I missed my puddy tats, but I'm now missing my parents :(
{waves to D & M}
Here is a card I was asked to make by my mother in law for a dear friend who is unwell.
The background is distress inks with cut and dry, the main stamp is penny black sparklers and the branches are stampscapes.

Sorry to everyone in the UK but here is a quick pic of me and hubby sitting by the port in Mazarron, Spain. We only have one day left now then it's back to the chilly weather :(

Christmas time

- mistletoe and wine...... Lol
Here's another couple of cards I've made while on holiday :)
I'm staying with my parents in Spain, and normally my suitcase contains tea bags but this time I bought out a big shot!! I bet customs had a right shock when they were scanning it. The dies are mine that I also bought out to show some of what the big shot can do. The stamp is cold crisp kisses by little claires.

Sketch Saturday #177

Here is a quick card I've made for this weeks sketch Saturday . I'm currently on holiday so 'borrowing' some stash :) it really makes you think when you haven't got any of your own stuff!!
The main image is a paper mania 'baubles' stamp. Sorry I can't put any supplies links in as I'm doing this on my phone.

Just for you

Another cute Milly card. Right that's it I have got to ink up my final Lili of the valley image now - hopefully I will get time to have a play later.
Image - LOTV Milly just for you coloured with Specrum Noirs
Background stamp is a fiskars one designed for a roller thing but I used an acrylic block. Embossed with WOW magical mauve embossing powder
Image edged with stemplglede grunge corner and dusty concord distress ink.
Sentiment printed on pc then overwritten with quickie glue and embossing powder.
Flower die cut - Marianne Design

And I thought I would share this 'contraption' with you...... I've damaged the tendons and have been wearing it for 3 weeks (only another 3-5 weeks to go) aargh you don't realise how much you use your thumb until can't use it. Hopefully they will mend soon and ache will go away :)

Doily card

Heres a card that was inspired by this site http://mytwobutterflies.blogspot.com/2011/03/easy-diy-bridal-shower-card.html The doily was picked up while I was in Spain (very cheap) but I had no idea what to do with it except use it as a mask, but they make such cute dresses :)

Being a newbie to the wonderful world of these gorgeous stamps (I have just bought 3, and just inked up the 2nd one) I made this cute card especially for this giveaway.

Christmas Cards (again)

Some more Christmas cards that I have made recently.
Very simple card, silver embossing powder on the image and the bottom of the card embossed with the big shot and swiss dots folder.
Another simple one, main image is aspects of design, bauble were a freebie on a magazine again embossed at the bottom of the card.
Image stamped in black, and mounted onto a card that I had printed on the pc.
Image is by Lili of the Valley, coloured with H2o's mounted on gold mirri and sentiment is from am old papermania paper pack.
This is my favourite I think. I made the easel card with a marianne design die. Image again is lili of the valley, coloured with spectrum noirs and a touch of gold leaf added to the baubles.

More Glitter

Another glittered Fizzy Moon Card. I still have another 3 of these images coloured (and glittered) waiting for a card inspiration to strike :)
Image and background paper by Fizzy Moon
Coloured with watercolour pencils
White frame - Marianne Design die
Snowflakes - Marianne Design dies, covered with glitter embossing powder
small white snowflake - Xcut punch
