I don't do decoupage

Normally I don't do decoupage lol.
But I recently bought 'the big one' by la pashe, which is crammed with loads of stuff from their various ranges and thought I'd give it a try. I have to admit I quite enjoyed doing these 3 :)

Twinkle twinkle

I had a reorganisation last night of the cards I have made for the fayre next week and realised how short I was of Christmas cards so thought I'd better crack on :)
These were inspired by this site No Time To Stamp
I love how easy these were to put together.
The sentiment was stamped direct onto the card and embossed. The image was stamped onto card and embossed. papers and a strip of mirri/glitter card glued to the card then the image was mounted on foam pads. Easy peasy :)

Image - frosty trees - elusive images
Sentiment - HOTV
embossing powders - silver sparkle, gold sparkle and holly green - WOW
papers - jolly happy christmas - dovecraft. santas on his way - foresver friends

I love my big shot

I bought quite a few new dies last week at the NEC and this has to be one of the quickest cards I've made. I used a Marianne cut and emboss folder for the card and used distress ink over the front. The poinsettia is also a Marianne die and the leaves are a punch.
And here is a pic of me with Crafty Bob. lol

Slider Card

Here is a card from earlier that I can now post. I think it's called a slider card? where the 2 sides are attached to each other and they slide in and out.

Special Delivery

Here is a card made with some of my NEC purchases.
The background is a Marianne cut and emboss folder and a piece of DCWV white core card. The image is a new Lili of the Valley stamp, stamped onto card die cut with marianne craftables die. The flowers are petal pair punches coloured with spiced marmalade distress ink.

I was lucky enough to go to the NEC hobbycraft show on Thursday. I spent a fortune and had a fantastic day. I got to see demos by Barbara Gray, Sheena Douglass, Nancy Watt and Stephanie Weighman as well as many others. And I got to meet (drum roll please!) Dean and Leonie from C&C.
Leonie took the above picture, but I was 'starstruck' and turned into a gibbering wreck so didn't get a picture with Leonie (ah well it's an excuse to go again next year)
Here are some pics of the huge amount of stash I bought.

I think I'd better start saving now for the next show!
